To do this, it has a set of sensors on the nose for target acquisition and designation and night vision. Its basic armament is a 30 mm caliber M230 automatic cannon located under the fuselage between the front wheels. It is also equipped with a combination of AGM-114 Hellfire anti-tank missiles and Hydra 70 rockets on the four mounts of its two wing structures; However, it can carry AIM-92 Stinger or AIM-9 Sidewinder anti-aircraft missiles on the wingtips.
