FS25 Massey Ferguson 4700 Series v1.0

FS25 Massey Ferguson 4700 Series v1.0

This edit of the Massey Ferguson 4700 series is intended for hay and barn work. Several handling, tire, transmission, and engine adjustments were made, while the loader was left unchanged.

Features

• The center of mass was reworked to make the tractor more stable and more realistic with its load-lifting capabilities. It is not perfect, but it is better than the original. It can lift a large square bale with no issue, and can lift two with a weight attached to the rear, which is about as realistic as can be expected of a tractor this size.
• The tractor can lift most implements of relevant size with the 3 point without losing traction on the front wheels.
• Added Trelleborg tire options, including two different wide tire sizes.
• Removed the CVT transmission, as this model does not have that option in reality.
• Added a Dyna 2 transmission with gear ratios as close as possible to what Massey Ferguson advertises.
• Reworked the engine torque values with a custom setting. The torque value is based on a torqueScale value of 2.45=400HP. This is above the scale Giants uses, but testing against real-world machines indicates that it matches better. If it is too overpowered for your gameplay, you will need to reduce the torque in the XML.
• The loader was left as is and works fine.
• The purchasable front weight does not work. It falls through the shop floor when you try to purchase it. This was an issue with the mod, and it could not be fixed.
