FS25 Improve Direct Sown Texture V1.0.0.2
Improve Direct Sown Texture is a visual terrain texture replacement mod for Farming Simulator 25. It uses the same runtime replacement method as FS25_ImprovedGroundTextures, but only installs the direct-sown ground texture files and their matching distance textures while the mod is active.

- Uses bundled base-game restore files so the original direct-sown visuals come back after the game closes.
- Changes only direct-sown ground visuals, not field states, crop growth, yield, economy, vehicles, contracts, or gameplay balance.
- It is narrower than the full ground texture pack and is intended for players who mainly want the direct-sown field state changed without replacing the complete ground texture set.
- It can be used on realism saves with wet yards, soft field edges, muddy tracks, forestry routes, or heavier vehicle movement.
- Multiplayer status: Supported.
- The active gameplay logic is written in Lua, the scripting language Farming Simulator 25 uses for script mods.
- Lua is loaded directly through modDesc.xml.
- Compatibility testing should include the map, any mods that touch the same gameplay area, and a save-and-reload check.
- Test conditions can include road, field edge, yard surface, and soft ground.
- Testing should check the feature behavior, the saved game after reload, and whether the rest of the mod folder works cleanly.
- Do not enable FS25_ImproveDirectSownTexture together with Improved Ground Textures. Use only one of these two ground texture mods in the same savegame.
- Keep only one copy of FS25_ImproveDirectSownTexture.zip in the active Farming Simulator 25 mods folder.
