BXR Water Spray is a visual enhancement mod designed to make vehicle movement during rainy weather and on wet roads more realistic.
When a vehicle travels forward on wet asphalt, the mod generates water spray around its wheels. The effect activates at a minimum speed of 16 km/h, preventing unnecessary spray while the vehicle is stationary or performing slow manoeuvres.
The intensity of the spray changes dynamically. Higher vehicle speeds and wetter road conditions produce a stronger and more visible water spray effect. At lower speeds or on less saturated surfaces, the effect remains more subtle.
The mod also supports object-based road surfaces. This allows the spray effect to remain at the correct height when driving across bridges and other roads that are constructed as placed objects instead of standard terrain surfaces.
