Seed Realism + is a lightweight script mod for Farming Simulator 25. It is made to correct the heavily overinflated seed rates that appear in base Precision Farming and in various map mods. At first, this mod was only a small Precision Farming edit, and it stopped working whenever Giants changed the rates. It has now been revised so it should hook regardless of game version.

The mod uses real-world North American agronomic data. Through Precision Farming’s updateSeedArea function, it dynamically reduces unrealistic seed consumption while leaving realistic values untouched.

Features

• Precision Farming Integration: The mod works with PF’s active 3-stage seed rates, Low, Medium, and High. These can be controlled automatically or manually with the , (Comma), K, and M keys.
• Simple Rate Checks: Actual seed volume is compared with real-world seed data. Excessively high rates are dynamically scaled down, while rates that are already realistic remain unchanged.
• Specific Crop Support: Reference tables cover standard crops together with specialty and niche crops, including Rice, Field Peas, Edible Beans, Alfalfa, Peanuts, Cotton, and Grass. Custom map-mod crops are also scanned automatically at load time.
• Clean In-Game Feedback: Concise logs and optional corner HUD notifications appear whenever rates are adjusted or active zones shift.

Commands

• srStatus: Checks if Seed Realism + is active or serves as a fallback in case some mods have pushed the log message or notification too far up in the load order.
• srCheckRate: [Crop] Shows active PF values for the crop target.
• srSetRate: Check Lua for functionality. This command is strictly for power users and can break functionality.
• srClearRate: Actively resets the rate to default in case it pulled the wrong value or you applied a custom rate via srSetRate.
• srRateReset: Emergency reset of all rates to default PF and map values in case of command failure or CPU memory usage errors.
• srDebug: [true|false] Toggles log output state.
• srNotify: [true|false] Toggles notification field alerts state.
