Respect Your Neighbors introduces a consequence and reward system to Farming Simulator 25. The mod encourages you to respect the land of other farmers instead of driving through crops that are not yours. Trespassing through another farmer’s crops can lead to fines, while respectful conduct during the complete month can make you eligible for a reward.

Features

• The penalty system is activated when you drive through crops on a field you do not own.
• Violations, fines, monthly results, reward eligibility, and warnings about repeated misconduct are communicated through an in-game notification system styled like a phone.
• Keeping your behavior respectful toward your neighbors for one entire month makes the monthly reward roulette available.
• When a contract requires you to work on another farmer’s field, the trespassing system does not trigger an unfair penalty.
• Violations in repeated months produce a warning. Should the bad behavior continue through the third consecutive month, an additional penalty may be imposed.

Specifications

• Fine: 1,000 per minute while you are trespassing on another farmer’s crops.
• Crop-edge tolerance zone: 5 meters around the edges of crops.
• Possible monthly reward: 0 to 20,000.
• Active gameplay required for the monthly reward roulette: at least 3 hours during the in-game month, starting with V1.1.0.0.
• Time spent sleeping or using time acceleration/time-skipping is not included in the required active playtime.
• Contract grace period: 5 minutes after a contract has been completed.
• Third consecutive month of bad behavior: an additional 50,000 penalty can be applied.

  The new F8 Settings Menu lets players customize the mod directly in-game.
  New Settings:
  Monthly Roulette – ON / OFF: Turns the monthly reward roulette on or off.
  Fine / Minute: Lets you select the fine charged for each minute spent violating a neighbor’s field.
  Crop Edge Tolerance: Lets you change the distance tolerance around neighboring fields/crops.
  Hours for Roulette: Lets you select the minimum active gameplay time needed to qualify for the monthly roulette.
  Menu Controls:
  F8 – Open/close Respect Your Neighbors settings.
  ESC – Close the settings menu.

  A 5-meter crop-edge tolerance was added to avoid unfair fines close to field borders.
  The monthly reward roulette now needs at least 3 hours of active gameplay during the in-game month.
  Sleeping and time-skipping are excluded from the 3-hour requirement.
  A 5-minute grace period was added after contracts are completed, so players can leave the contracted field without receiving fines.
  Crop trespass detection around field edges was improved.
  Overall gameplay balance and protection against exploiting the monthly reward system were improved.
