FS25 Real Power Train V1.1.2.0
Real Power Train adds realistic CVT behavior together with engine and transmission management, hand throttle control, power-split efficiency and hydraulic engine response.
Features
- Each brand receives realistic CVT behavior. Fendt Vario and MF Dyna-VT use 2 manual ranges, field and road, which can be changed only while standing still. CVXDrive for Case IH, Steyr and New Holland, JD AutoPowr, CLAAS CMATIC, Deutz TTV, Valtra Direct and Kubota KVT use 4 automatic ranges with almost unnoticeable shifting.
- Engine and transmission management can run in Auto, with economy and low rpm at transport speed, or in Power. Load limitation and acceleration ramps 1 – 4 are included.
- The hand throttle provides two rpm memories, A and B. These settings are saved with the savegame, as on real tractors.
- Power-split efficiency models greater losses in the hydrostatic section. This is reflected in pulling force and fuel use.
- When the PTO is working, the engine drops slightly under load rather than staying locked at PTO rpm.
- Hydraulic functions increase engine rpm for tipping, loader work, linkage and folding, then return the engine to idle afterwards.
- Open the own window with Left Alt + P. Its Transmission tab displays live rpm and target, engine load, efficiency, hydrostatic share and a range strip. The Settings tab contains modules, the vehicle selection and the CVT profile for each brand, with changes applied at once. The Panel tab controls on / off, text size and mouse movement.
- The CVT module switches off automatically when CVT Addon, RealismAddon Gearbox or VCA is active.
- Zasty HUD displays the range and hand throttle. When the HUD is active, the panel is hidden.
- Multiplayer is supported.
Keys (default)
- Left Alt + P: Real Powertrain window
- Left Alt + Up / Down arrow: Hand throttle (hold)
The keys shown above are the defaults. Should the game or another mod already use one of them, open Options > Controls and assign the key you want instead, preventing conflicts.
Changelog
- V1.1.2.0
Fixed: rpm and speed needles no longer jump, especially when travelling uphill. Automatic ranges now change more calmly and remain in one range for at least 2 seconds. Engine rpm now tracks the load smoothly instead of hunting.
Improved: rpm no longer falls to “choking” values. During loading, the engine retains enough rpm for pulling. On the road, the minimum is about 1150 – 1300 rpm, depending on the tractor. At top speed, ECO remains around 1450 – 1500 rpm.
New: Fendt VarioDrive. Fendt 600/700/900/1000 models now use one continuous, fully automatic range. Fendt 200/300/500 models retain their two manual ranges, I Field / II Road, changed at standstill.
New: deceleration ramps 1 – 4 in the Transmission tab. They determine how strongly the engine brakes after the pedal is released, like a real CVT. Ramp 2 is the game default.
New: keep speed for tractors with a manual gearbox, requested by the community. It is off by default. Enable it in Settings > “Keep speed on manual gearboxes”. For these tractors, only keep speed is added and nothing else changes.
Debug log: more values are now displayed. If something still jumps, enable Settings > “Write values to the log”, drive uphill and send me your log.txt. - V1.1.1.0
New: Keep speed, asked for by the community. Release the pedal and the tractor maintains the speed it had, like the drive lever on real CVT tractors. Accelerate to increase the speed, brake to reduce it, then release again to hold the new speed.
It works both forward and in reverse. In forward travel it uses the game’s cruise control. In reverse, the mod presses the pedal for you and adjusts it to maintain speed. It releases control when you accelerate, brake, use the cruise control keys or when the tractor stops.
When keep speed releases control, your own cruise control speed is restored.
Turn it on or off in the window, Left Alt + P, Transmission tab. The setting is saved per player in modSettings.
The panel shows KS / KS active, and the window shows it as a chip.
Multiplayer is supported.
IMPORTANT – Keep speed has NO default key. To turn it on or off while driving, assign a key under Options > Controls > “Keep speed (on/off)”.
Keep speed works together with CVT management. If it does not work on a combine or another machine with a CVT, open the mod window with Left Alt + P, select Settings > Vehicles and choose “All”. By default, only tractors are managed.
