FS25 Mechanic Workshop V1.0
Mechanic Workshop changes repairs so they are not completed instantly. Take your vehicle to the mechanic, then wait until the service is finished.
Features
- Next to Repair in the workshop menu, a new “Send to mechanic” button is available. It can be clicked or activated by pressing M
- Depending on the damage, the service requires 1 to 2 days
- The vehicle is unavailable while it is with the mechanic. You cannot TAB into it or use it, and its dual wheels travel along with it
- A notification tells you when the vehicle is ready, and it returns to the exact place where you left it
- “Quick repair” can be clicked or activated with F. It is instant and costs double
- The service state is stored in your savegame
- Multiplayer supported
How it works
- Go to a workshop with your vehicle and open the workshop menu
- Choose “Send to mechanic” for the normal price, or select “Quick repair” for double
- Return after the notification appears
Notes
- This mod replaces the game’s standard Repair button with its two buttons
- At the top of
scripts/MechanicWorkshop.lua, you can change the service duration and the quick repair multiplier
