FS25 Meadow Trails V1.0.1.1
Repeated vehicle traffic creates visible wheel paths across wild grass, planted grass fields, and decorative ground foliage. Grass Wear Passes apply to wild grass and decorative foliage outside fields, while hard surfaces like asphalt and concrete are left out.
Features
- Wild grass and decorative foliage can form dirt tracks when traffic passes over them repeatedly.
- With Base Game mode selected, field destruction remains controlled by FS25.
- Meadow Trails mode applies Crop Destruction Passes to field crops, including planted grass, on both owned and unowned land.
- Each pass setting can be set from 1 to 5, and both use 4 by default.
- Grass fields keep their field ground type.
- These settings are found under
ESC > Game Settings:- Grass Wear Passes
- Crop Destruction: Base Game / Meadow Trails
- Crop Destruction Passes
- Trail Recovery Time
- Tire Tread Marks: On / Off
- Without traffic, trail recovery is set to 3 in-game months by default. The available choices are Off, 1 Day, 1 Month, 2 Months, and 3 Months.
- Saved patches restore only vegetation that was removed originally. Recovery is cancelled if the field ground is changed or another crop is used.
- Crop damage from Meadow Trails recovers during a period of 3 months.
- Tire Tread Marks reinforces native tread marks on worn grass paths and grass fields with the existing texture of each wheel.
- Tire tracks must be enabled in the graphics settings, and the game determines how long they remain.
- Wear and recovery history is stored in the save.
- Open the Protected Areas editor with
Ctrl+Shift+M; this shortcut can be rebound. - From above, the Protected Areas editor lets you draw and name boundaries, move or remove points, rename or delete areas, undo actions, and use Save & Close.
- Each game can save up to 64 areas, with 128 points per area.
- Protected boundaries prevent Meadow Trails wear, dirt painting, crop damage, enhanced tread marks, and recovery writes from the mod.
- Damage that already exists is not removed.
- When Base Game crop destruction mode is active, crop destruction still uses FS25 settings, while normal game tire tracks and farming tools remain active.
