FS25 Field Health – Crop Diseases & Pests V1.3.0.0
Field Health brings crop diseases and pests into Farming Simulator 25. Its system covers real threats known throughout Europe, while the occurrence rates are based on Polish agricultural data. The mod remains in early development, which means bugs and balance problems may still appear.
Features
- During every season, each growing field may get one disease and one pest.
- Fields belonging to NPCs remain unaffected.
- The mod contains 44 threats altogether:
- 24 diseases
- 20 pests
- Among them are powdery mildew, septoria, rust, fusarium, late blight, aphids, cereal leaf beetles, Colorado potato beetles, corn borers and more.
- A threat only applies when both the crop and its growth stage are compatible.
- Crop rotation, plowing, liming, mulching, fertilizing, weed control and weather all influence the risk.
- Threats start as small patches, become larger with time and may move into neighbouring fields.
- Your crops are damaged only once a threat reaches severe stages, leaving time for a response.
- Diseases are treated with fungicide.
- Insecticide gets rid of pests.
- Applying the right treatment once keeps the field protected through harvest.
- The products can be used in standard sprayers, including modded sprayers, and the spray is visible.
- AI helpers spray only fields needing treatment, with an option to disable this behaviour.
- Containers are available as 1 L bottles and 5 L or 20 L canisters.
- Both fungicide and insecticide can be purchased.
- The available brands are Opryskex and MST.
- The products are concentrated:
- One 1 L fungicide concentrate produces 290 L of spray.
- One 1 L insecticide concentrate produces 1,450 L of spray.
- Liquid removed from the sprayer is placed into 20 L canisters.
- Under ESC > Map > Crop protection, layers are available for Protection, Diseases, Pests, Disease types and Pest types.
- Use Left Alt + to switch the minimap layer.
- Field and farmland information provide extra health details, and notifications appear for new or severe threats.
- There are 31 settings in the separate Field Health tab at ESC > Settings, arranged in sections:
- General: turn the complete mod, diseases or pests off, start calmly with no threats during the first years, enable meadow threats and set a threat limit per farm.
- Chance of threats: adjust disease and pest probability and the effects of farming, weather, stubble and Precision Farming data.
- Development of threats: control speed, spread, patch size, movement to neighbouring fields and crop damage.
- Spraying and protection: set required coverage, protection duration, product usage and whether AI sprays only where needed.
- Prices for every product.
- Display: control notifications and the lines shown in field information.
- The complete system may be simplified, made more difficult or switched off.
- All players can view the settings, while multiplayer changes are limited to the admin. On a dedicated server, log in as admin first.
- Supported languages number 20: English, Polish, French, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish.
- Your game language is selected automatically. English is used when the language is unsupported.
- In-game help tables are provided in English, Polish, German, French and Russian.
- Precision Farming is supported.
- Onions from the Highlands Fishing DLC are supported.
- Modded crops get common threats, including grey mould and aphids.
- Multiplayer and dedicated servers are supported.
- Mod data is kept apart from the savegame, so taking out the mod does not damage saves.
- Fields, settings and purchased products remain after updates.

Changelog
- V1.3.0.0
Settings tab: The settings now have their own Field Health tab in ESC > Settings, split into sections: General, Chance of threats, Development of threats, Spraying and protection, Prices and Display.
New settings, 31 in total:
– Diseases and Pests: switch each kind of threat off on its own. Threats of that kind disappear from your fields the next day.
– Calm start: no new threats in the first year or the first two years of the game.
– Precision Farming data: decide whether its nitrogen, pH and soil maps change the risk.
– AI sprays only where needed: turn it off and AI helpers spray the whole field.
– Risk in the field info: hide the risk lines to keep the box short.
– The first setting now switches off the whole mod. Your field data is kept for when you switch it back on.
Fixes:
– Players on dedicated servers couldn’t see the settings. Now everyone sees them, and only the admin can change them, log in as admin first.
– With several mods adding settings tabs, the row of tabs now fits on the screen.
Compatibility:
– Savegames of all earlier versions load without any change. The new settings start with values that keep the mod working exactly as before.
– Multiplayer: the server and all players need the same version (1.3.0.0). - V1.2.1.0
Bottles and canisters: Simpler collisions with a flat bottom and straight sides, 24 points instead of 96. They are lighter for the physics and stand straight on concrete instead of leaning.
Realistic weight of the full containers: 1.1 kg for the 1 l bottle, 5.4 kg for the 5 l canister and 21.2 kg for the 20 l canister.
Fixes:
– A thrown bottle can now fall over, before it almost always landed upright.
– A canister lying on its side stays there instead of springing back up by itself.
Compatibility:
– Savegames of all earlier versions load without any change. Bottles and canisters you already bought keep their contents and get the new physics.
– Multiplayer: the server and all players need the same version (1.2.1.0). - V1.2.0.0
New languages:
– Ukrainian
– Turkish
– Dutch
– Danish
– Swedish
– Norwegian
– Finnish
The mod now speaks 20 languages. Your game language is picked automatically, and other game languages show English, as before. Players in Belgium can choose Dutch or French.
In-game help:
– Every page of the help is translated into all new languages.
– The help tables, including threats, risks, weather, settings and more, are now also in German, French and Russian, not only in English and Polish. Other languages show the English tables.
Fixes:
– The spray of fungicide and insecticide is now visible on every sprayer. Before, some sprayers from mods and base game sprayers treated the field without showing any spray.
– Multiplayer: a player who joined while someone was spraying could see an incomplete map until those spots changed again.
– Right after loading, AI helpers with fungicide or insecticide no longer treat fields the mod has not checked yet as done.
– English help: the field info box part uses the same names as the box itself.
– Long words in the help tables no longer run into the next column.
Improvements:
– The daily check of infected fields is much lighter. On maps with big fields this removes short stutters at midnight.
– Multiplayer data is sent in smaller pieces.
– If the mod data in a savegame can’t be read or comes from a newer version, the mod stays off for that session and keeps your data as it is instead of overwriting it.
– A repeating error is written to the log three times at most instead of every frame.
Compatibility:
– Savegames of versions 1.0.0.0 and 1.1.0.0 load without any change, fields, threats, protection, settings and the bought bottles and canisters all stay. Nothing was removed from the game.
– Multiplayer: the server and all players need the same version (1.2.0.0).
Good to know:
– 20 languages is the full set for now.
– Spotted a wrong word in your language? Let me know in the comments or on GitHub.
