FS25 Custom Animal Food Recipes V1.0.0.0
Use the in-game menu to create, save and manage your own animal feed recipes. Both recipes and settings are saved together with the savegame.
Features
- Recipe Editor: Start by choosing an animal type, then select up to eight ingredients. Every ingredient can have its own minimum and maximum amount. The ratio bars only display information and follow those minimum and maximum values. The animal selected for the recipe controls the mixer output. Cows and buffalo use TMR or forage, pigs use pig food, sheep and goats use suitable grass or hay feed, chickens use grain, and horses prefer oats when available. Animal types added by maps or other mods use their loaded food data where possible.
- Saved Recipes and Global Mix: Save Recipe keeps a mix for later use without turning it into a global setting. Global Mix sets the recipe as the default for unassigned barns of that animal type and loads the current or attached mixer wagon when it is empty. Any saved recipe can be loaded into an empty mixer from the Recipes page. Empty the mixer before choosing a different recipe.
- Barn Assignments: Assign an individual husbandry a special recipe through the Barns page. Barn recipes need at least two ingredients. The assigned barn then accepts the ingredients listed in its recipe, while all other unassigned barns continue using the global mix. This allows setups such as a calf ration in one cattle pen and a mature cattle ration in the other pens.
- Input Materials: The Inputs page determines which materials are shown in the recipe ingredient selector. Materials from mixer wagons are enabled by default. Suitable fill types provided by the current map or other mods may also be enabled. When a saved recipe is selected, any material used by that recipe becomes available again.
- Feed Balance: Feed Balance is optional and operates separately from recipe creation. Choose an animal type to see its normal food groups. Each group can remain in use or be reduced, while its animal benefit and food usage can be adjusted. Grass, meadow and pasture groups are protected because the game depends on them for husbandry and meadow behaviour. Custom recipes also follow the chosen feed balance.

Using the Mod
From the in-game menu, open Custom Animal Food Recipes. On the Editor page, create a recipe and choose Save Recipe to keep it, or choose Global Mix to set it as the default and load an empty mixer. Saved recipes can be loaded or deleted on the Recipes page. Use Barns for individual husbandry recipes, Inputs to control the ingredients that are visible, and Feed Balance only if you want to adjust the normal food groups for animals.
