The D-442 FUG (Hungarian: Felderítő Úszó Gépkocsi, literally ‘amphibious reconnaissance vehicle’) and the D-944 PSZH (Hungarian: Páncélozott Személyszállító Harcjármű, literally ‘armored reconnaissance vehicle’) are the result of internal Hungarian development of an amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle and a relatively cheap armored personnel carrier. series. The FUG and PSZH were exported with limited success and are also known by their Czechoslovakian designation, OT-65.
