The Diesel Exhaust Fluid System brings Farming Simulator 25’s native DEF functionality together as a complete system for compatible diesel vehicles. While working, those vehicles can use, monitor, transport, and refill Diesel Exhaust Fluid.
This mod relies on Farming Simulator 25’s native DEF fill type and consumer system. Diesel fuel and DEF stay fully separate. Vehicles that do not use DEF, including gasoline-powered vehicles, are not affected.

Each of the three containers is fully functional and built to operate within the Farming Simulator 25 environment.
Vehicle Compatibility
To use the vehicle-side DEF features, a vehicle must be correctly configured with Farming Simulator 25’s native DEF fill type and DEF consumer system.
A compatible diesel vehicle should have its own DEF fill unit together with a native DEF consumer.
A vehicle without a DEF consumer continues operating normally and does not show the DEF gauge.
Non-motorized liquid carriers that already support liquids such as water, milk, or diesel can also transport DEF when compatible. Compatibility with every third-party vehicle is not guaranteed, since vehicle mods come from many different authors and can use different configurations.
