Once you buy a tractor, it first becomes an order. Production and delivery then take some time before the tractor reaches your farm. The mod additionally manages world regions, customs duties, payment schedules, delivery delays and cancellations.
Features
- Producing and delivering a tractor with basic equipment requires two days.
- Optional equipment with an additional cost, including different tyres or a stronger engine, extends the time by two more days.
- Many manufacturers belong to one of six world regions: Europe, North America, South America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.
- On known maps, the farm is assigned to a region automatically. On other maps, you can choose the farm region manually.
- The distance between the tractor’s origin region and the farm’s region determines the delivery time. For example, a tractor travelling from Europe reaches a European farm sooner than it reaches a farm in North America.
- Delivery days are based on the game calendar. The mod treats one month as 28 days and converts that value to the number of days per month selected in the game. With 28 days per month, each delivery day equals one in-game day. With one day per month, a twelve-day delivery takes about ten in-game hours.
- If down payments are active, 20 percent of the price is kept by the dealer when the order is placed, while the other 80 percent is paid at delivery. Only the down payment must be available in the account at the time of ordering. If down payments are inactive, the complete price is paid immediately.
- A tractor arriving from another region is subject to customs duty. No duty is charged for transport within the same region. For transport between two regions, the mod applies the rate configured for that direction.
- As an example, a 100,000 euro tractor travelling from Europe to North America receives 5,000 euros in customs duty at the preset rate of five percent, making the total 105,000 euros.
- Customs duty rates are game values and can be changed or disabled completely.
- Before the purchase, the mod displays the customs duty, total price and payment breakdown. These amounts remain unchanged after an order has been placed.
- When delivery delays are enabled, a delivery may occasionally need one or two additional days.
- The order list identifies the machine in production, the machine currently travelling and its arrival time. It also displays the origin, destination and outstanding amount.
- If the farm cannot pay enough money on the delivery day, the order remains waiting until the outstanding sum, including customs, can be paid.
- You may cancel an order during production, while it is travelling or shortly before delivery. During production, the paid amount is refunded. After the order is on its way, the dealer retains part of that amount. Shortly before delivery, the paid amount is forfeited completely and a cancellation fee is charged. Cancelling an order does not charge customs duty.
- The delivered tractor receives the selected tyres, colour and ordered licence plate.
- Seed pallets, BigBags and other instant items, as well as used machines, leased vehicles and free vehicles, are available immediately without waiting or customs duty.
- Multiplayer is supported. All players on the farm can see the shared orders, while the server controls the options.
