FS25 Field Health – Crop Diseases & Pests V1.4.1.0
Field Health brings crop diseases and pests into Farming Simulator 25. Its system is built around real threats found throughout Europe, while the occurrence rates are based on Polish agricultural data. The mod remains in early development, so bugs and balance problems are possible.
Features
- During every season, each growing field may receive one disease and one pest.
- NPC fields remain unaffected.
- The mod contains 44 threats altogether, made up of 24 diseases and 20 pests.
- Powdery mildew, septoria, rust, fusarium, late blight, aphids, cereal leaf beetles, Colorado potato beetles, corn borers and more are included.
- A threat affects only crops and growth stages that are compatible with it.
- Fields divided between different crops are supported. A threat remains on the crop grown during the season and does not move onto the other crop or bare strips.
- Crop rotation, plowing, liming, mulching, fertilizing, weed control and weather all influence the risk.
- Diseases and pests start as small patches, develop over time and may spread to neighbouring fields.
- Damage to crops begins only at severe stages, leaving time for a response.
Treatment
- Diseases are cured with fungicide.
- Pests are removed with insecticide.
- If the “One spray for both” setting is enabled, either product cures and protects against both kinds of threat.
- A single correct treatment protects the field through to harvest.
- Spraying is counted from one day before sowing, or at any time after harvest when the “Spraying before sowing” setting is enabled.
- Products can be used in standard sprayers, including modded sprayers, and the spray is visible.
- AI helpers spray only fields that need treatment. This option can be disabled.
Crop Protection Products
- Bottles are available in 1 L, with canisters available in 5 L and 20 L sizes.
- Both fungicide and insecticide are available.
- The available brands are Opryskex and MST.
- One 1 L fungicide concentrate produces 290 L of spray.
- One 1 L insecticide concentrate produces 1,450 L of spray.
- Liquid left in an unloaded sprayer is stored in 20 L canisters.
Field Monitoring
Open ESC > Map > Crop protection to find layers for:
- Protection
- Diseases
- Pests
- Disease types
- Pest types
The minimap layer is toggled with Left Alt + .
Field and farmland information also provides extra health data and notifications about new or severe threats.
Settings
Field Health has 33 settings in its own tab at ESC > Settings. They are divided into these sections:
- General: turn the entire mod, diseases or pests off, start calmly without threats during the first years, enable meadow threats and set a threat limit for each farm.
- Chance of threats: set disease and pest probability and the influence of farming, weather, stubble and Precision Farming data.
- Development of threats: control speed, spread, patch size, movement to neighbouring fields and crop damage.
- Spraying and protection: choose the required coverage, protection duration and product usage, along with AI spraying only where needed, spraying before sowing and one spray for both.
- Prices for every product.
- Display: control notifications and the lines shown in field information.
The system can be adjusted to be easier or harder, or it can be disabled completely.
All players can view the settings, while only the admin may change them in multiplayer. On a dedicated server, log in as admin first.
Languages
The mod supports 20 languages: English, Polish, French, German, Spanish, Latin American Spanish, Portuguese, Brazilian Portuguese, Italian, Russian, Czech, Romanian, Hungarian, Ukrainian, Turkish, Dutch, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian and Finnish.
Your game language is selected automatically. English is used when a language is unsupported. The tables in the in-game help are available in English, Polish, German, French and Russian.
Compatibility
- Precision Farming support.
- Highlands Fishing DLC onions supported.
- Beans & Alpacas DLC: bananas and coffee retain the DLC’s own diseases, while its fungicide works with Field Health.
- Modded crops receive common threats such as grey mould and aphids.
- Multiplayer and dedicated servers supported.
- Mod data is kept separately from the savegame, meaning that removing the mod does not break saves.
- Updates retain fields, settings and purchased products.

Changelog
- V1.4.1.0
🍌 Beans & Alpacas
– Fixed: the DLC’s banana and coffee diseases were not cured by fungicide. Field Health now keeps the DLC’s fungicide working as intended and supplies only its own protection.
– Bananas and coffee from the DLC are no longer given threats from this mod, since the DLC provides its own diseases for them.
– When the DLC is installed, Field Health bottles and canisters, as well as the DLC’s fungicide, work with both systems.
💾 Compatibility
– Savegames from every earlier version load without any changes.
– Multiplayer: the server and every player must use the same version (1.4.1.0). - V1.4.0.0
✨ New settings (33 in total)
– Spraying before sowing (off by default): a bare field can be sprayed after harvest to protect the next crop.
– One spray for both (off by default): using fungicide or insecticide alone cures and protects against diseases and pests at the same time, making one pass sufficient.
🌾 Split fields
– Fields containing several crops are now handled correctly. The crop that began the season remains the field crop while it grows across its area, and only its parts count for threats, damage and protection.
– Once that crop is harvested, the other crop takes control of the field and keeps its spraying.
🔧 Fixes
– After discing or sowing, the mod could continue reading the former crop and display risk from its weeds or stubble. Fields are now read directly.
– Spraying immediately after sowing now counts.
– A field with a bare area in the centre is no longer treated as empty.
– Stubble and rolling are no longer evaluated from one or two spots of a newly emerged crop.
– The Field Health settings tab no longer opens a different mod’s page when multiple mods add tabs.
– Expected harvest in field information now counts only the section containing that crop.
– The log now gives a clear warning when the game cannot register fungicide or insecticide (limit of 255 fill types).
💾 Compatibility
– Savegames from all earlier versions load without any changes. Both new settings are off, so nothing changes unless you enable them.
– Multiplayer: the server and every player must use the same version (1.4.0.0). - V1.3.0.0
⚙️ Settings tab
– Settings now have their own Field Health tab at ESC > Settings, arranged in the sections General, Chance of threats, Development of threats, Spraying and protection, Prices and Display.
✨ New settings (31 in total)
– Diseases and Pests: each threat type can be switched off separately. Threats of that type disappear from your fields the following day.
– Calm start: no new threats appear during the first year or the first two years of the game.
– Precision Farming data: choose whether its nitrogen, pH and soil maps alter the risk.
– AI sprays only where needed: disable this so AI helpers spray the entire field.
– Risk in the field info: hide the risk lines to make the box shorter.
– The first setting now disables the entire mod. Your field data remains available when you turn it on again.
🔧 Fixes
– Dedicated server players could not see the settings. Everyone can now see them, but only the admin can change them (log in as admin first).
– When several mods add settings tabs, the tab row now fits on the screen.
💾 Compatibility
– Savegames from every earlier version load without any changes. New settings begin with values that leave the mod working exactly as it did before.
– Multiplayer: the server and every player must use the same version (1.3.0.0).
