FS25 Hydraulic Suspension System V2.0.3.2

With this mod, tractors receive the hydraulic front suspension that they use in real life. Over bumps and rocks, the wheel travels up and down, and the links, cylinders and shaft follow the movement.

Features

  • Working suspension: The tractor becomes noticeably more stable and comfortable.
  • Automatic leveling: When front weights or a heavy implement are added, the front automatically returns to the correct height within a few seconds.
  • Separate systems for every brand: John Deere ILS and TLS, Fendt, Claas PROACTIV, Terraglide (Case IH / New Holland / Steyr), MF Quadlink, Valtra, Deutz-Fahr and McCormick. Their behavior differs, with some systems being softer and others firmer.
  • Driving modes:
    • AUTO – levels by itself
    • WORK – firmer when working in the field or when the front starts bouncing
    • LOCKED – stiff axle for front loader work or heavy transport
    • MANUAL – raise and lower the front yourself (only on JD ILS and Fendt, like in real life)
  • Keys:
    Ctrl+Alt+U – change mode
    Ctrl+Alt+↑ / ↓ – raise / lower the front (manual mode)
The controls can be reassigned in the control options.
  • The system functions only on tractors that use it in real life: medium and large tractors from the listed brands. Small tractors and crawlers remain unchanged.

BETA VERSION
Testing is still underway, particularly in multiplayer. Much work remains, but the mod is playable so far, and user feedback and suggestions will lead to further tweaks and fixes. If you encounter a problem, please send the log.txt file. For multiplayer problems, the logs from both the host and the player who joined are required.

Changelog

  • V2.0.3.2
Fix: When articulated tractors such as the John Deere 9R and Case Steiger turned, they leaned to one side until the suspension reached its limit. Their front axle is now fixed, as it is in real life, with the oscillation taking place in the centre joint. Levelling continues to work. Thanks to MascotteCri for the report and screenshot.
  • V2.0.3.1
Compatibility with Realistic physics mod added.
  • V2.0.2.1
New – Manual suspension choice per tractor model (window Left Alt + U > Vehicle > “Suspension for this model”): Auto / Levelling / Pendulum / Original. The choice is saved for every vehicle of that model and applied at once.
Option “Manual height on all tractors” (window > Settings): gives manual height to systems that don’t have it in real life (e.g. John Deere TLS). Off by default, marked as not realistic.
Fixes – Tractors with their own vehicle type in the mod (e.g. converted John Deere 6M / 7M) got no suspension, no window and no keys.
On tractors where the front axle is a separate physics part, the axle now remains on the wheels while the chassis rises and lowers, allowing the suspension cylinders to extend and retract with the height.
Tractors with parts that have no mass in the XML are no longer handled as light tractors (pendulum axle).
