FS25 Sunflower 5035 Cultivator v1.0

The Sunflower 5035 is a cultivator approximately 30 feet wide. Its original description identified it as a beta test, and the mod has since been adjusted to resolve several issues.

Features

  • Its AI worker function has been fixed. At the field edge, the AI no longer drops the cultivator into the ground and drags it around, nor does it become stuck reversing in a circle.
  • The AI performs as well as Giant’s AI can. CoursePlay works better with this tool, while the vanilla AI now finishes fields without missing anything and raises or lowers the tool as intended.
  • Workmodes were added for switching between normal cultivate and shallow cultivate.
  • The harrows at the rear now have a roller function. It becomes active in shallow cultivate mode and provides seed bed finish.
  • Crop stubble can be normal cultivated, followed by shallow cultivation in a cover crop and seed bed preparation in one pass.
  • The lowering speed could not be adjusted. The tool enters the ground at about half the speed of smell.

Specifications

  • Width: approximately 30 feet
  • According to Sunflower, this model requires 130-180hp to pull.
  • The setup is configured for 140 hp to pull it well.
  • A 120hp would probably want less than this.
  • In rolling hills, a JD4440 can pull it easily.
  • In eastern Washington, 140hp would probably not pull it well.
