FS25 MAZ-7310 Radar P-18PL V1.0.0.0
MAZ-7310 Radar P-18PL presented within an operational and simulation/modding asset framework.
Features
- Military and technical overview: MAZ-7310 Radar P-18PL.
- 1. Mobility Platform:
MAZ7310. Tactical role: an 8×8 heavy off-road transport vehicle based on the Soviet/Belarusian MAZ heavy missile carrier chassis. - Operational capability: this vehicle carries heavy radar antennas, power generators, and operational command shelters as a self-propelled platform. High ground clearance and 8-wheel drive support radar deployment in rugged, cross-country terrain, significantly improving survivability against counter-battery fires or anti-radiation missile (ARM) strikes through rapid shoot-and-scoot capability.
- 2. Electronic Surveillance Payload:
Radar_P18PL. Tactical role: a modern 3D long-range early warning and air surveillance radar using the VHF (meter-wave) frequency spectrum. - Strategic purpose: meter-band frequencies are effective for detecting low-observable (stealth) aircraft, cruise missiles, and drones designed to absorb or scatter conventional high-frequency microwave radar signals.
- 3D target tracking: legacy analog P-18 radar systems supplied only 2D range/azimuth data. Modern 3D variants, including the P-18PL / P-18 AESA modernizations, use digital beamforming to measure altitude, speed, and precise 3D vector coordinates simultaneously.
