- Manage fields as well as farmlands
- Create creeks
- Paint foliage and ground textures simultaneously
- Generate traffic splines automatically while creating roads
Changelog
- V1.1.3.9
Major spline changes:There is also a related change for placeable animal pens: custom fence shapes can now be created directly in the viewport.Roads:Trees:Workflow:Fixes:
- Scatter objects within closed splines
- Place foliage on splines and inside them
- Control texture and foliage according to slope
- Make texture and foliage interact by choosing which texture permits foliage to spawn
- Autumn leaves are now available as a spline tool
- Save presets for each spline rather than for each tool inside a spline
- Set the curvature of the road surface to flat or curved, using a curvature selected by the user. A default value is available, along with an override for each road spline.
- Choose between dashed or clear edge lines across junctions
- Junctions adjust to widened road sections and traffic islands
- Traffic splines follow widened road sections and traffic islands
- The asset browser now has a trees tab. Trees can be dragged and dropped directly into the browser or spline tools.
- Starting the foliage brush begins a session. Trees painted during that session are placed in their own transform group, making large numbers of trees easier to manage when an area needs to be deleted or hidden.
- Pie menu: opens at the cursor position and provides quick access to the different tools.
- Teleport to what you are pointing at: with nothing selected, press
Fto zoom to that location. - Language support: this version includes a language string translation tool and a template file, allowing you to translate the UI into your language.
- In rare cases, maps created outside Lush did not correctly update
densityMap_ground.gdm, even after fields had been created in Lush. If this occurs, click the Clear Ground Outside Fields button in the Fields tab. - In rare cases, maps created in Giants Editor did not display foliage. The cause was that
map.i3dreferenced density maps as PNG files even though GDM files were present. This is fixed, and Lush now prefers GDM files even when PNG is used as the file extension in thei3dfile.
