FS25 Realistic Mechanical Systems BETA 5
RMS adds mechanical simulation to Farming Simulator 25. The way you drive, the work you perform and the maintenance you carry out affect fleet reliability, performance and expenses.
Features
- Progressive wear and breakdowns affect up to eight separate mechanical systems, each consisting of the real parts that can fail. The failed part is the one your use has worn down. Unusual sounds, fluctuating engine speed, smoke and reduced power show the condition of your machines.
- Engine temperatures and behavior respond to cold weather, workload, fouling and mechanical condition. These factors affect starting, warm-up and exhaust smoke. Recent diesel engines regenerate their particulate filters and can suffer their own AdBlue failures.
- Tractors include 2WD, 4WD and AUTO modes, as well as differential locks. Every machine has a parking brake, which is automatic on recent CVTs and Powershifts.
- Electric vehicles have individual components, including an electric motor, a traction battery that loses capacity with age and range in cold weather, and power electronics.
- Perform maintenance on foot by checking levels, adding fluids, cleaning with the air blow gun and applying the grease gun. A filter that is heavily clogged needs workshop replacement.
- For charging and jump-start assistance, use jump leads or the Telwin Doctor Charge 155 Connect on a trolley. Recharge while working elsewhere, or select START to help with starting. Charging speed follows the speed of game time.
- The diagnostic tool is an option on the Telwin trolley and reads the machine’s fault codes. A code shows what the machine is measuring, while inspection finds the faulty part. Farm and mobile workshops require it for electronic work.
- The complete workshop provides inspection, maintenance, repair, overhaul and repainting. Before work begins, compare the prices, durations and quality of original, aftermarket or used parts. The warranty lasts 24 months or until the hour limit, with extensions available when buying new.
- Reports, maintenance due dates and repair history can be consulted. Vehicle value is affected by age, hours and mechanical condition. Defects may be hidden in a used machine, but its maintenance history can be checked at the dealership before purchase.
- Workers adjust their driving when equipment is overloaded in order to protect it, including while using Courseplay and AutoDrive.
- The mod supports singleplayer, multiplayer, dedicated servers and 27 languages.
RMS remains in the alpha phase. Feedback helps improve its systems and their balance.
