The MZKT-7930 TORPEDO is an 8×8 heavy tactical coastal defense and anti-ship missile platform. It is intended to transport heavy tactical payloads and support littoral defense operations.
Features
- High-Mobility MZKT-7930 8×8 Heavy Chassis: This heavy-duty, multi-axle all-wheel-drive platform was developed by the Minsk Wheeled Tractor Plant (MZKT). It is engineered to carry heavy tactical payloads across steep inclines, mud, and sand.
- Coastal Anti-Ship / Torpedo-Missile Launcher Container: A specialized transport-launcher container is mounted at the rear, housing heavy anti-ship missiles or rocket-propelled torpedoes for littoral defense operations.
- Hydraulic Stabilization & Levelling Outriggers: Heavy-duty hydraulic stabilizer legs anchor the vehicle and absorb launching recoil on uneven ground or sandy coastal banks.
- Enclosed Tactical Operations Cab: The reinforced forward crew compartment includes specialized target acquisition interfaces, navigation displays, and secure communication suites.
- Coastal & Littoral Defense: The vehicle is designed for rapid deployment along coastlines, straits, and island nodes, denying hostile naval surface ships and submarines access to territorial waters.
- Concealed Off-Road Staging: Its 8×8 all-terrain capability supports deployment deep in coastal forests, coves, and sand dunes, using natural cover to evade aerial and naval radar detection.
- Rapid Coastal Fire Support: Along shoreline roads, it coordinates with mobile radar stations, such as the MZKT Radar variant, to carry out rapid strike-and-relocate maneuvers.
