FS25 Realistic Harvesting V1.6.4.3
Realistic Harvesting for FS25 introduces harvesting behavior that responds dynamically to crop density, cutting width, moisture, machine horsepower, engine load, and mechanical calibration. Grain combines, forage harvesters, root and vegetable harvesters, cotton, and sugarcane are supported.
Features
- Physics-Based Engine Load & Speed: The machine adjusts its ground speed according to harvested crop mass (t/h), header width, and vehicle horsepower. Engine overload or incorrect settings cause real grain loss.
- All Machine Types Supported: Calibrated physics are provided for Grain Combines, Forage Harvesters (chaff/silage), Root & Vegetable Harvesters (potatoes, beets, carrots, parsnips, spinach, peas), Cotton, and Sugarcane.
- Interactive Combine Calibration: Press
RShift + Kto adjust Rotor/Drum RPM, Concave Clearance, Fan Speed, and Sieves for every crop. Maximum yield and minimum loss depend on using the correct settings. - Workshop Upgrade Packages (Tiers 1-4): Combine upgrades can be purchased at the shop.
- Level 1 (Standard): The machine is operated completely manually.
- Level 2 (Sensor Kit): Calibration guidance hints are displayed as low / optimal / high.
- Level 3 (Yield Monitor): The monitor provides real-time yield (t/ha, bu/ac), area rate (ha/h), and moisture telemetry.
- Level 4 (Opti-Harvest AI): Settings are calibrated automatically, and speed management is automated.
- AI & Courseplay Compatibility: AI helpers and Courseplay workers make use of saved profiles or optimal calibrations automatically.
- Draggable HUD: The movable on-screen display reports live Engine Load, Productivity (t/h, ha/h), Crop Loss %, and Moisture.
- Global Crop Profiles: Save a preferred tuning setup once, then have profiles load automatically across your combines and savegames.
- 3 Difficulty Modes (ESC Settings): Select Arcade (relaxed), Normal (balanced), or Realistic (strict physical limits and penalties).

V1.6.4.3
- Direct Grain Tank Intake Scaling: At the bunker intake, crop losses caused by speed overload, calibration mismatch, slope, and moisture are now scaled directly. Legacy post-tick fill level deductions are completely eliminated, capacity counter jitter is prevented, and harvesters fill cleanly to 100.0% without falsely stopping early because of a full tank.
- Dynamic Engine Power & Tuning Support: Load balance and speed governing now read live peak power, power multipliers, and powertrain configurations directly from the active motor instance. Custom engine upgrades and chip tuning are therefore adapted to automatically.
- Fixed Attachment Runtime Error: A fatal arithmetic crash, attempt to perform arithmetic on nil value, during header lift/lower operations on custom harvester configurations has been resolved. Frame updates and normal cylinder animation speeds are restored.
- Fixed Manual Driving Telemetry Stall: During manual player driving, engine load, crop throughput, and speed limits no longer remain at zero while operating correctly under automated helpers.
- Improved Header Lowering Detection: Implement status checks now prioritize the native engine lowering state and safe joint descriptor validation. This prevents false disengagements on headers with rigid mounts or custom attacher controllers.
- Road Transit Work Mode Protection: Foldable header transport lock verification has been improved, preventing involuntary thresher activation or header lowering during road transit and automated waypoint transport.
- Optimized for Low-Horsepower Harvesters (<escape><</escape> 160 HP): The speed governor floor is reduced to 1.8 km/h. Compact and vintage harvesters can crawl sustainably through dense, high-yielding crops without engine overload or severe crop loss spikes.
- Low-power harvesters now resolve engine horsepower early and begin field passes at a gentle 3.5 km/h entry speed rather than the standard 5.5 km/h.
- At crawl speeds, controller deadbands are scaled proportionally down to 0.08 – 0.10 km/h. This allows smooth acceleration toward the target 80% engine load without becoming locked into underloaded speeds.
- Cleaned Telemetry Logging: Repetitive audio sample initialization notices during vehicle customization in the shop are suppressed, while savegame restoration messages are condensed into compact single-line summaries.
V1.6.4.1
- FIXED: Harvester calibration hotkeys (Shift+K), HUD toggle (Shift+H), and Harvest Diary (Shift+J) now respond when attached implements (headers/cutters) are selected in the vehicle tool chain through native interaction and activation flags.
- FIXED: Threshing system classification now works for modular harvesters and system carriers (NEXAT / NEXCO). The NEXCO combine module is correctly shown as Axial Rotor instead of being assigned to straw walkers.
- FIXED: Live harvest telemetry, speed regulation, and header lowering detection now work on modular multi-vehicle and gantry harvesting platforms where cutters are mounted on the motorized carrier instead of directly on the threshing module.
- IMPROVED: Automatic combine classification for modded and serial grain harvesters has been expanded with Torum, Gleaner, Tribine, New Holland CH Crossover, Case IH AF series, and classic conventional harvesters.
- IMPROVED: Custom modded combines without standard animation tags now receive deep 3D model node inspection (
i3dMappings), reliably identifying machines that have physical rotor or axial components. - FIXED: Changing combines, for example from Tier 4 to Tier 1, no longer leaves the calibration terminal (Shift+K) bound to the previous machine and falsely showing Tier 4 settings.
- FIXED: On modular carrier harvesters, the Shift+K calibration terminal now opens even when an attached header/cutter implement is selected.
- REMOVED: Grain Threshing Subtypes. Grain combines are no longer divided into
walker, rotor, andhybridsubtypes. All conventional grain harvesters now use one"grain"standard. - REASON FOR REMOVAL: Fragile name-matching lists and complicated XML animation node lookups often failed on modded combines. They caused false classifications, XML callstack warnings, and inconsistent power balance. A single robust model for grain combines guarantees 100% stability across all vanilla and modded harvesters without affecting forage, root crop, or specialty harvesters.
V1.6.4.0
- New Features, Threshing Mechanism Classification System: The automated classification engine in
rhm_Combine.luanow assigns harvesters to 6 mechanical categories using vehicle XML data, wheel count, and chassis dimensions. STRAW WALKER, conventional straw walker combines.AXIAL ROTOR, single and dual longitudinal rotor systems.HYBRID APS, accelerator pre-separation cylinder with twin separation rotors.FORAGE CHOPPER, precision-chop drum and accelerator systems.ROOT HARVESTER, lifting shares, sieving webs, and cleaning rollers.SPECIALTY, cotton, sugarcane, grape, and olive harvesters.- A real-time Threshing System Indicator badge has been added to the Shift+K calibration terminal header.
- The public API endpoint
RHM_Api.getThreshingType(vehicle)has been added. - Localized naming has been added across all 27 language files (
translations/l10n_*.xml). - 3-Way HUD Work Rate & Productivity Monitoring: Yield Monitor HUD Cell 7 (expanded layout) and Cell 4 (compact layout) now support interactive click-cycling.
- The display cycles through: Processed Area (ha / ac) <-> Instantaneous Work Rate (ha/h / ac/h) <-> Session Average Work Rate (ha/h / ac/h).
- Session average work rate telemetry has been added to th
