FS25 AutoSwitch V1.0.3.0

AutoSwitch handles tire pressure and differential locks automatically, creating more realistic traction. It allows Variable Tire Pressure, Enhanced Vehicle, MoreRealistic, Mud System Physics, Tractor Terrain Dynamics and AutoDrive to work together without changing or switching off any of them.

The aim is a more realistic and efficient game.

Features

  • With AutoDrive or Courseplay, tire pressure can be reduced in the field and increased on the road. Manual driving is available in Automatic or Manual mode.
  • Enhanced Vehicle differentials lock at 15 % slip on the rear and 30 % on the front, with the front value adjustable. Asphalt and concrete use 2WD, while other surfaces use 4WD.
  • When AUTO mode is active, lowering a plow locks the rear differential. Raising the plow releases it again.
  • Use Right Ctrl + Up arrow to change between AUTO and MANUAL. In MANUAL, you control the differential locks and the 2WD / 4WD selection. An engaged lock remains engaged, causing the tractor to slide through turns. AutoDrive or Courseplay returns the system to AUTO.
  • Each machine gets a real drivetrain. Combines, forage harvesters and 2WD machines have individual HUD icons, and locking applies only to the driven axle.
  • In 4WD, steering is 90 %. Turning the wheels releases the locks, while a lock request is refused with the alert “Straighten the wheels”.
  • MoreRealistic grip includes wet-ground loss with 5 levels, a capped VTP field bonus and a differential-lock bonus. Built-in tire wear is included too: worn tires have less field grip and slightly more grip on dry roads.
  • Mud System Physics uses the actual width of dual wheels. They are fitted tire by tire with the rear BKT 650/65R42 and front BKT 540/65R30 dual-wheel racks, taking 15 in-game minutes per tire.
  • AutoDrive speeds can be set by terrain, including field, track and road, in steps of 2 km/h.
  • The display shows the speed range, a top view of the tractor and the slip of every wheel beside the speedometer. The blocks are movable with the mouse.
  • The MSP to TTD bridge avoids double resistance. Wet paths remain drivable, tire tracks are saved with the savegame, and muddy tires remain dirty.
  • Right Ctrl + M opens weather information for the current weather, the next 24 hours and the following days. A mini weather widget sits beside the clock, and visible wind affects trees, crops and grass.
  • Right Ctrl + R opens the register, including AutoDrive Addon weighings, farm sales, and monthly and product totals.
  • Finances include a bank overdraft with interest. Co-ops are paid at the end of the month.
  • Opening hours can be adjusted. The shop is open from 8 am to 7 pm, while selling points operate from 6 am to 10 pm.
  • Game traffic cars no longer overtake tractors.
  • Several hours or several days can be selected for sleeping.
  • AutoSwitch arbitrates conflicts between mods, which means ModMixer is no longer required.
  • Sowing is protected, wheels trample grass, and implements remain still while stopped.

To use the racks, place them first and park the tractor inside the rectangle. Green means the position is correct. Then stand on foot at the yellow marker and press Right Ctrl + I. Empty racks are used for unmounting. This works in single-player only.

Find the AUTOSWITCH tab in Settings. The required mods appear at the bottom, with OK shown in green and X shown in red.

Required mods:

Tire wear is already built in, so no tire mod is needed.

Changelog

  • V1.0.3.0
Built-in tire wear, with no tire mod needed anymore, now works wheel by wheel on all vehicles, trailers and tracks. Grip, radius and worn tread are visible, and rubber tracks become smooth when fully worn.
The HUD shows wear in % for every wheel. Tires on attached tools and trailers appear below the tractor. New tires are available at the workshop, and TTD reads this wear.
Courseplay jobs continue from the waypoint where they stopped after the savegame loads.
The Fields window now shows total hectares, while the mini weather no longer overlaps the clock bar.
New forage harvester HUD icons are included for 4×4 and 4×2.
  • V1.0.1.2
In AUTO mode, the rear differential stays locked during plowing. The update adds the AUTOSWITCH tab in Settings, opening hours for the store and sales points, twin wheels that can only be mounted via pallets, visible weather and wind, a weighing and sales log, a bank overdraft and cooperatives paid at the end of the month. Cars no longer overtake tractors.
Optional tire wear, with Use Your Tyres recommended: Real Physics – Tire Wear is no longer required.
  • V1.0.0.6
New in V1.0.0.58: TTD beta is recognized under its original name, with AUTO / MANUAL mode, a real drivetrain, combine / forage harvester icons, Real Physics – Tire Wear, trampled grass, a report of mods not enabled and no more FPS drop with racks.
