FS25 CUMA – Shared equipment V1.0.0.2
With this mod, agricultural machinery cooperatives called CUMAs become part of Farming Simulator 25. Pay a membership fee to join one, then borrow tractors, implements, and other machines by the hour.
The in-game shop menu gains a new tab named “CUMA”.
Features
- On the CUMA page, you can see the cooperatives available in your save game, read the description of the selected cooperative, check its monthly membership fee and current hourly rate, view the number of members, and use the Leave, Borrow, Move Zone Here, and Reset buttons.
- The fleet view provides information about each machine’s condition, age, operating hours, value, hourly rental cost, and status. A machine can be available, under repair, or borrowed by another member.
- Equipment recommendations use the fleet that already exists. The Kredo 3 power harrow needs 165 hp and matches the CUMA tractors at 95%, while the 330 hp and 440 hp models are shown as “Impossible” because the tractors currently in the fleet are too small for them.
- Membership and rates work as follows: you can belong to one CUMA at a time, and leaving is possible only after at least one year.
- The monthly membership fee is calculated from the fleet’s value, while equipment rental charges are calculated by the hour.
- Hourly prices change with the in-game season. Sowing and harvest bring higher rates, while winter brings lower ones. The rate does not depend on how often you borrow equipment.
- The number of members is shown for every CUMA and changes gradually as time passes.
- A game session contains 2 to 4 CUMAs, with the option to create more. Every cooperative has an individual profile and its own matching equipment.
- Possible examples are a small village cooperative without a combine harvester, a valley cooperative with a combine and modern machinery, a large cropping business using high-horsepower tractors and plows, and a livestock group with telehandlers, forks, manure spreaders, and hay-making equipment.
- The machines come straight from the in-game shop, and this also includes modded equipment.
- Simulation covers age, operating hours, wear and tear, breakdowns, and repairs. Machines can sometimes be loaned to other members, and the fleet changes over time.
- Implements are selected according to tractor power, so oversized tools are not included.
- From the CUMA page, use “Move zone here” to place the delivery zone. The zone faces the same direction as your current camera view.
- Five designated positions are available in the delivery zone, identified by yellow and black lines.
- Any machine offered in the in-game shop can be proposed for purchase, including new equipment and used equipment from the game’s “used” tab.
- Equipment already belonging to the fleet can be traded in.
- Machine configurations can include engine options, features, realistic color schemes, and other options that are available.
- Whether a proposal is accepted depends on necessity, compatibility, the cooperative budget determined by the number of members, and possible revenue.
- Once a proposal has been sent, you need to wait several in-game days before sending another one.
Installation and Tips
Put the .zip file in your mods folder, then activate it in your save game. Open the in-game shop menu afterward, and the CUMA tab will be found at the end.
Position the delivery area with the “Place zone here” button.
The mod is still a work in progress, and more updates are planned.
