Respect Your Neighbors adds consequences for driving over your neighbors’ crops. The mod works automatically once enabled, with a compact animated phone at the bottom left displaying warnings, fines and rewards.
Features
- Driving over living crops on neighboring farmland triggers an initial fine of about 166.67.
- While remaining on the crop, another charge is applied every 10 real gameplay seconds, equivalent to 1,000 per minute.
- Leaving and entering the crop again may trigger another initial charge.
- Detection works even when Crop Destruction is disabled.
- The system monitors player-controlled vehicles and vehicles operated by AI helpers.
- Your own land, grass, harvested crops and fields covered by detected active contracts are excluded.
- When a violation begins, the phone appears with a notification.
- Where supported by the map, the message can identify the neighbor and affected field or land parcel.
- The displayed fine total updates while you remain on the crop and shows the final amount after leaving.
- Complete an entire in-game month without receiving a fine to earn one roulette spin.
- Possible rewards: 0, 2,000, 4,000, 6,000, 8,000, 10,000, 12,000, 14,000, 16,000, 18,000 and 20,000.
- All 11 rewards have an equal chance.
- The prize is selected once and paid when the approximately 4.5-second spin finishes.
- Only one unclaimed reward can be stored at a time.
- The month in which the mod is first installed is not eligible because it was not fully monitored.
Repeat-Offender Penalties
- Receiving fines in two consecutive months triggers a warning during the second month.
- If violations continue into a third consecutive month, the first violation that month adds an extra 50,000 penalty on top of normal fines.
- This additional penalty is charged only once during that month.
- A full violation-free month resets the sequence.
Controls
- Middle Mouse Button: Enable or disable the cursor while a reward is available
- Left-click SPIN: Start the roulette
- Fines and warnings activate automatically
Savegame Support
- The mod uses the game’s normal calendar and your configured number of days per month.
- It saves monthly violation status, consecutive violation months, available reward and selected roulette result.
- If the game is closed during a spin, the animation resumes after loading.

- Other languages use English text
- Multiplayer is not supported.
Notes
- Neighbor names and crop detection depend on data provided by the map.
- There is no minimum active-play requirement for monthly rewards.
