Vehicle Leasing allows you to finance vehicles and machinery in Farming Simulator 25 without paying the full purchase price upfront. It can currently only be played in single-player mode.

- When leasing a vehicle, define the terms step-by-step: 1. Select a down payment
2. Set the lease term
3. Determine the residual value
4. Review a complete summary showing the vehicle price, down payment, monthly installment, interest, total costs, and final payment. - Confirm the lease agreement with “Yes” to acquire the vehicle.
- You can choose a lease term between 6 and 36 months. Any whole number of months within this range is possible.
- A term of 12 months is suggested by default.
- The default interest rate is 4% per year, calculated based on the actual amount financed.
- Financed amount = Vehicle price − Down payment
- The interest rate can be adjusted directly in the script via the
INTERESTsetting. - You can pay off the contract in full ahead of schedule if you have sufficient funds during the lease period.
- Early repayment saves you from paying interest that would have accrued over the remaining time.
- When finalizing the lease agreement, you can set a residual value between 0% and 50% of the vehicle price.
- A higher residual value means lower monthly installments but a higher final payment at the end.
- The final payment is due at the end of the lease term.
- If the final payment cannot be made, the vehicle is repossessed.
- You can view and manage all active lease agreements at any time under Statistics → Vehicles → Leasing Overview.
- You can open the overview directly in-game by pressing Ctrl + K.
- Each lease agreement shows the vehicle, monthly installment, current outstanding balance, remaining months, and next payment.
- You will receive a warning shortly before the next lease installment is due.
- A notification appears during the two days prior to the next payment if your account lacks sufficient funds to cover the installment.
- The day count is based on the internal day logic of LS25. If the in-game warning does not appear correctly, this can be adjusted accordingly.
