Welcome to the farmlands of rural northern Michigan, with rich soil, rolling hills and wide open fields. The starter farm is set up as a beef cattle farm with a small herd of Angus cattle already roaming the pasture.

- The starter farm includes all the equipment needed to get started.
- You start with four fields, including a hay field for producing food for cattle and a wheat field for producing straw and selling grain for income.
- There are three other buyable pre-built farms: a basic small farm, a small dairy farm and a large dairy farm.
- There is a forestry area at the northwest corner of the map with a sawmill.
- There are two supporting productions for forestry materials in the town area.
- Productions include: All In One Production, Bakery, Bakery US, Carpentry, Cooper, Dairy, Grain Mill, Greenhouse With Canned Foods Production, Sawmill, Spinnery and Tailor Shop.
- Custom weather patterns and a custom crop calendar fit the area better.
- The custom crop calendar allows for harvesting two crops in one season if crop rotations are planned correctly.
- Updated crop textures for some crops, along with stubble destruction.
