WELCOME
With this mod, you can build your own organic farm — from organic fields and organic animals to organic storage. Organic products sell for significantly more, and you have a complete organic value chain at your disposal.
Works on ANY map — Vanilla maps and mod maps. No matter which map you play, the bio status is detected and managed on all fields.
#QUICK START
1. Install the mod: Copy the ZIP file to your Mods folder.
2. Load your save game or start a new farm.
3. Turn on the Bio HUD* Press Left Alt + B — you will now see the organic status of your fields.
4. Get started right away: Approximately **40% of all fields are already automatically certified organic when you start the game!** You don’t need to switch anything.
5. Plant, harvest, sell: — Organic crops bring in 36% more money.
Want even more organic fields? Simply cultivate a conventional field using only organic fertilizer and no chemicals — it will be certified over time.
HOW DOES A FIELD BECOME ORGANIC?
A field automatically receives organic status as soon as the following rules are followed:
PERMITTED on organic fields (with yield bonus!):
– Organic liquid manure — +6% yield
– *rganic solid manure — +9% yield
– Organic digestate / organic slurry — +12% yield (from the biogas plant)
– Regular liquid manure/solid manure/digestate (no bonus, but organic status remains)
– Lime
– Mechanical weed control (harrow, hoe)
– Mulching
PROHIBITED — revokes organic status:
– Artificial fertilizers (all types)
– Herbicides (plant protection sprays containing chemicals)
The Organic HUD shows you the status of each field in the top left corner:
– ORGANIC — everything is OK, your field is certified
– NOT ORGANIC — artificial fertilizers or herbicides have been used

When you harvest in an organic field, your crop will automatically become organic chaff, organic wheat, etc. — visible on the trailer display.
ORGANIC PRESSES
All bale types are correctly identified and retain their organic status:
– Round bales (straw, hay, silage)
– Square bales (straw, hay, silage)
When baling on an organic field, the bales are automatically marked as organic. Even after saving and reloading, the organic status of the bales is retained.
Buy organic bales in the shopIf you haven’t pressed any organic fields yet, you can buy organic bales directly in the shop — ideal for animal feed to get started:
– Organic Straw Bales (Square & Round)
– Organic Hay Bales / Dried Grass (Square & Round)
– Organic Silage Bales (Square & Round)
You can find them in the shop under the category “Pallets / Bales”.
ORGANIC STORAGE
Drive-over silos (bunker silos)
Organic chopped material and organic silage remain organic in the drive-over silo. You can also ferment it — the organic status is maintained throughout the entire process.
High-tip bucket / Front loader
When you pick up organic material from a bio-bunker silo, it remains organic. You can transport it safely for animal feed or to a trailer.
NL16-22-2000 High Silo (NEW!)
Find it in the shop under Silos / Neuero.
The special bio-compatible high silo stores organic and vanilla products **separately** from each other:
– Vanilla in → Vanilla out
– Organic in → Organic out
– Mixed storage possible:Both varieties can be in the silo at the same time
During loading, the silo shows you both varieties to choose from. You select whichever you want.
Important:Drive the trailer close to the silo (approx. 25m) and unload — the mod automatically detects whether your trailer contains organic material.
ORGANIC ANIMALS
Keep your animals organic and receive **60% higher prices** for their products.
How to raise animals organically:
– Only feed organic food** (organic hay, organic silage, organic mixed feed, organic grain)
– Do not mix with vanilla feeds

TIPS & TRICKS
– Start with an animal barn:** You need organic manure/slurry for your fields. A few chickens or sheep are enough to start with.
– Press dry grass: Organic hay bales are very profitable, and you’ll need them as animal feed anyway.
– Keep the HUD active:** The organic HUD shows you your organic status at a glance.
– Save often: Organic status on fields, in silos, in trailers, and in bales is preserved when saving—use this feature.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Q: My field has suddenly lost its organic status — why?
A: You’ve probably used artificial fertilizers or herbicides. The HUD will show you this. You’ll need to convert the field back — this can take several harvest cycles.
Q: My tracking bar only shows vanilla even though I harvested from an organic field.
A: Check if your field was actually marked as organic (HUD). If so, send the `log.txt` file so I can check.
Q: Can I mix vanilla and organic fields?**A: Yes! Each field has its own status. You can farm organically on some fields and conventionally on others.
Q: How do I use the NL16-22 silo correctly?
A: Simply drive up a trailer to unload — the mod automatically detects whether you are unloading organic or vanilla and saves the data separately. When loading, the Vanilla LoadTrigger displays both types for selection.
Q: Does the Bio status also work with other mods?
A: Yes, with most mod machines, but usually not with special mod silos (except for the NL16-22). If you have any problems, just send a log.
