The mod itself isn’t an exe. (I don’t thibnk so, anyway). Most of the time that the .exe crap shows up is when it’s a pop up virus attack and you just have to be quick with the mouse and cancel it before it downloads and THEN download the actual mod. I could be WAAAYYYY off, but I am just going off of my personal experience with multiple mod downloads with that same situation occurring. Hope it helps!
