Der IHC 1255 verfügte über einen 125 PS starken 6 Zylinder Dieselmotor mit Direkteinspritzung und wurde von 1979 bis 1994 in Neuss (GER) produziert. In dieser Zeit wurden insgesamt 1.397 Schlepper dieses Typs mit Allradantrieb hergestellt.
